MEET THE HOLTON DENTAL TEAM
Dr. Alex Gilliland
DENTIST
Dr. Gilliland completed his undergraduate degree at Kansas State University in 2002. He then began his dental training at the University of Indiana and graduated in 2007. Following graduation he moved back to his hometown of Holton and opened Holton Dental. He and his wife Taige have 4 daughters, Tuley, Marley, Haddie and Norah. Dr. Gilliland enjoys spending time with his family, hunting and the outdoors.
Dr. Samantha Rieschick
DENTIST
Dr. Samantha Rieschick, originally from Wellington, KS, completed her undergraduate training at Kansas State University in 2008, with degrees in Biology and Spanish. She then began her dental training at the University Of Nebraska Medical Center College Of Dentistry in Lincoln, NE and graduated with honors in 2013. Following graduation, she moved with her husband, Ross Rieschick, back to his hometown of Soldier, KS and joined the Holton Dental team. Ross and Samantha have three daughters, Isabelle, Ava and Eden. Dr. Rieschick enjoys traveling, being outdoors, gardening, reading, playing piano, volunteering for community and church events, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Trent Roth
DENTIST
Dr. Roth, a native of Columbus, Nebraska, earned his undergraduate degree from Wayne State College in 2020. He went on to complete his dental training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry, graduating in 2025. Dr. Roth joined the Holton Dental team after graduating. He and his wife, Tarrin have 2 sons, Liam and Luther. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Roth enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, hunting, and being at a dirt-oval racetrack.
Taige
OFFICE MANAGER
Taige was raised in Holton, Kansas and graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in elementary education in 2002. She taught 3rd grade while Alex attended dental school in Indiana. In 2007, when her and Alex opened Holton Dental she took the role of office manager. She is the mother of 4 daughters, Tuley, Marley, Haddie and Norah. Taige enjoys spending her time with her family as well as exercising and being outdoors.
Ross
OFFICE MANAGER
Ross grew up on a farm near Soldier, KS. He is a graduate of Jackson Heights High School (2001) and Kansas State University (2005) with a degree in Agriculture Technology Management. Ross is married to Samantha Rieschick and they have three daughters. Ross enjoys farming, hunting, fishing, sports and family time with his girls.
Aimie
DENTAL ASSISTANT
Aimie, originally from Laguna Philippines, has lived in Kansas ever since she immigrated to the US in 1990. She received a Medical Secretary associate degree from the University of Perpertual Help at Laguna. She has worked as a Dental Assistant for over 6 years, though she has worked in almost every subfield of healthcare. She is married to Rich and they have four children. Aimie enjoys sewing, cooking, and raising her husky Miki.
Amanda
DENTAL HYGIENIST
Amanda is a native of Holton and a graduate of Holton High School. She earned an Associate of Dental Hygiene from Johnson County Community College in 2002. She is married to Travis and they have three children, Mariah, Jagger, and Lakelyn. She enjoys cooking, gardening, watching her kids in sports, and buggy riding.
Bridget
FRONT OFFICE
Bridget joined Holton Dental the summer of 2023. She earned her bachelor degrees in Finance and Economics from Fort Hays State University. She married her husband and moved to the area in 1996. They have 2 kids and lots of pets. After being a stay at home mom, she worked as a school secretary for 17 years. During her free time she enjoys too many types of crafting, reading and spending time with friends and family.
Courtney
FRONT OFFICE
Courtney joined Holton Dental in 2024. She has over 20 years of dental assisting experience but is enjoying her new role at the front desk. Courtney moved to the area in 2022 and married her husband, Mike in 2024. She has three kids, three bonus kids and three fur babies. In her free time you can find her spending time with her family as well as running her kids to dance and sports.
Ellie
DENTAL ASSISTANT
Ellie is a native of Holton and graduated from Holton High in 2011. Ellie married her husband, Dillon in 2015. Together they have a daughter, Madison, and a son, Cameron. Ellie also works as a clerk at Holton Livestock Exchange. During her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and exercising. She also enjoys archery and the outdoors. Ellie has been with Holton Dental since 2013.
Gracie
DENTAL HYGIENIST
Gracie was born and raised in Frankfort, KS. Gracie graduated from Flint Hills Technical College in 2025. In Gracie's free time, she enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. She also has a huge soft spot for animals - big or small! Gracie is at her happiest when she's with her friends and family!
Jaymee
DENTAL ASSISTANT
Jaymee was born and raised in Holton, KS. She graduated from Holton High and Accelerated Dental Assisting Academy in 2022. She enjoys going to concerts and spending time with her boyfriend of 5 years, James, and friends. She is also very creative and loves to sing and craft.

Jody
FRONT OFFICE
Jody was born and raised outside of Netawaka, KS. She graduated from Jackson Heights in 2007. She then attended Washburn University and completed their Physical Therapist Assistant Program (2009), followed by getting her Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration (2011). Jody and her husband Nick moved back to the Holton area in 2023. They have 3 children, Maverick, Thayer, and Rynnlee. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends, watching her kids participate in sporting events and vacationing in the mountains.
Kelli
DENTAL HYGIENIST
Kelli joined the Holton Dental team in 2008 as a Dental Assistant. After graduating from Holton High School she attended Wichita State University earning her Bachelors in Dental Hygiene in 2012. She then rejoined the Holton Dental team as a Dental Hygienist. Kelli and her husband Donovan have 2 sons, Lawson and Layton. In her spare time Kelli enjoys baking and spending time with family.
McKenna
DENTAL HYGIENIST
McKenna joined the Holton Dental team in February, 2017. After graduating from Axtell High, she attended Manhattan Area Technical College where she graduated from the Dental Hygiene program in 2013. McKenna and her husband, Loren, have a daughter, Emery and a son Colsen. McKenna keeps busy thrifting, exercising, and doing photography.
Reanna
DENTAL ASSISTANT
Reanna "Re" was born and raised in Hays, KS. Re worked as a hygiene assistant before graduating high school in 2020. Re says that the way to her heart is through a good cup of coffee! Re moved to the area in 2024 with her boyfriend, Declan. Together they enjoy watching the Chiefs and K-State win!
Shayna
DENTAL HYGIENIST
Shayna grew up in Sabetha, KS. After high school she attended Washburn University and later transferred to Manhattan Area Technical College where she graduated from the Dental Hygiene program in May 2014. Shayna lives in Corning with her husband Kevin. They have 3 children, Tenley, Bentley, and Bennett. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, and decorating her home. Shayna joined the Holton Dental team in 2016.
Shelly
DENTAL ASSISTANT
Shelly grew up in Holton and graduated from Holton High School in 2013, joining our Holton Dental team in 2023. She married her husband, Josh, in 2016 and they have 3 kids together -Samuel, Hadleigh, and Malakai. You can usually find Shelly curled up with a good book, chasing around her children, or enjoying the peaceful views at the home her husband built for them.
Flint
DENTAL THERAPY DOG IN TRAINING
Flint is a Mini Goldendoodle, affectionately known as a "mega mini" in our office. We know dental anxiety is a real thing and Flint is here to help! He is currently being trained to keep you company during your appointment if you should need him. Flint is super friendly, but knows when it's time to go to work. Ask to see Flint today!
