Dr. Mark Underwood – Topeka Orthodontics
Holton Dental has their own orthodontist that comes to our office to see patients. Dr. Underwood is able to complete 100% of his treatment in our office which keeps our patients from traveling to Topeka. This eliminates time out of school and parents off of work.
Dr. Underwood completed his undergraduate degree in biological studies at the University of Denver on a pre-dental scholarship. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Missouri.
Dr. Underwood completed his post-doctorate studies in Orthodontics at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, , earning a prestigious award for postgraduate research. He also obtained his Master of Education degree at University of New Orleans.
Dr. Underwood became certified by the American Board of Orthodontics in 1995. His research was published in the Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, recognized nationally for excellence.
